There are only two days left in the group stage, so for the teams at the other end of the ranking, it will be tough. mudgolems and Alliance lag far behind, and they only have one series left to play each. You can watch all upcoming matches on the official Twitch-channel of Epicenter.
Taking down Secret with ease
The new VP roster was assembled in early November, with three players of their former academy squad VP.Prodigy. Former Natus Vincere support Ilyas 'Kingslayer' Ganeev and AS Monaco Gambit's former midlaner Danil 'gpk' Skutin completed the line-up.
The Epic League is the first tournament the new team have competed in – with great success so far.
Their last series in the group stage was a 2-0 stomp against Team Secret, who usually count as the undefeatable tournament favourite. With a kill score of 14/1/15, he nearly had a 100% kill participation as the teams ended 30-12.
MVP of the first match was Egor 'Nightfall' Grigorenko on Phantom Assassin.
Game two only lasted for 26 minutes and had a 9-18 score. The team shut down Michał 'Nisha' Jankowski and Vitalie 'Save-' Melnic contributed to 15 kills alone with his support Tiny. If VP were able to just run over Secret in the second match, it will definitely be interesting to see what they will bring in the next series.
Their final group stage encounter will be against Alliance later this Friday – a team that currently struggles a lot.
