Having made it all the way to the winner bracket finals in the Curse Dota 2 Invitational, ua Na`Vi have had to drop out of the competition due to prior commitments. This means that us Team Dignitas, winner of the losers bracket finals, will be moving on up to face us Team Liquid in the winners bracket finals tomorrow, Saturday the 18th of May starting at 22:00 CEST, as the games have been pushed back to avoid conflicting with the International 2013 qualifiers.

The organizers have decided to grant Liquid a one game advantage for the winners bracket finals, in order to compensate for the fact that Dignitas was essentially moved up from the losers bracket in order to play the game.

In order to still be able to play all remaining games the organizers have allowed ru RoX.KiS, who lost the losers bracket finals to Dignitas, to re-enter the competition. They will be awaiting the loser of the winners bracket finals in the consolation finals.

The los off Na`Vi is highly unfortunate, as they had gone 4-0 so far in their winner bracket games, taking out eu QPAD Red Pandas and us Evil Geniuses. Along with RoX.KiS, who ultimately eliminated EG 2-1 from the competition, Na`Vi was the only European team so far to take a seris off one of the North American teams in the competition. With two left in the competition and Dignitas already having defeated RoX.KiS once 2-1, odds seem to be in favour of a North American victory for the inagural season of the $10,000 competition.

All remaining games will be played out during this weekend, with casting from the likes of us Aaron 'Ayesee' Chambers, newly relocated to the EG San Francisco studio, as well as us Ben 'Merlini' wu.
