The roster of Ninjas in Pyjamas broke apart over the last weeks. After the legendary Peter 'ppd' Dager retired, the organisation takes a new course and acquired all players from Chicken Fighters on Wednesday. NiP's former roster faced difficulties due to coronavirus. It was no longer possible for Saahil 'Universe' Arora and Rodrigo 'Lelis' Santos to play for NiP since they reside in different regions.

On top of that, captain and position five ppd announced his retirement earlier this week. Only their carry and midlaner remained on the team, Jason 'Tanner' Weedon and Nikita 'Daxak' Kuzmin.

Chickens in Pyjamas

The European organisation decided to let go of their two remaining players and signed the Chicken Fighters. The KFC fighters caused a stir at the recent ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online where they defeated several top teams, even eliminating Nigma from the tournament and taking fourth place.

A slot at the first division of Pushka League

For the Chicken Fighters, the acquisition comes in handy. The team was not able to make it through the qualifiers for WePlay! Pushka League Division 1, as they fell to OG Seed 2-0.

Since NiP received a direct invite to the league, the chickens are now eligible to play at the event nontheless. Their first series will be against OG.Seed again on Thursday. You can spectate the revenge match on the official Twitch channel of WePlay!.
