More Dota action in terms of leagues! The WePlay! Pushka League kicks off on 23 April, featuring 14 teams from Europe and CIS and a $250,000 prize pool. Ukrainian event organiser WePlay! announced their new EU & CIS league on Thursday, during their current WeSave! Charity Play. Two regional groups with seven participants each will enter the battle in late April and brawl over several weeks.

Since WePlay! is an CIS-based organiser and online tournaments played on crossed servers have many issues with smooth internet connections and ping, the league is limited to European and CIS teams. Nevertheless, there are several worldclass squads to attend the Pushka League. Nigma are especially fond of WePlay! tournaments as they won all three of their recent events successively.

OG, Team Secret, Virtus.pro, Alliance and Natus Vincere will enter the competition as well. The final two participants will be determined through regional Open Qualifiers.

WePlay! is known for their unique tournaments and elaborate sets. Shifting from their usual LANs to an online production will not change their approach and style of hosting, as explained by Yura Lazebnikov. The WePlay! Esports CBDO announced in a statement on their official homepage:

This is going to be a competition with top-tier teams mixed with a brand-new show. Our team can’t even imagine working on dull and monotonous broadcasts without providing a unique vibe and sharing with the audience a story that we wanted to create.

More information about the schedule and prize pool distribution will be announced soon.
