Fnatic, Evil Geniuses, and OG Seed: who is going to win DOTA Summit 12?

Fnatic are the team to beat

Fnatic advanced to the Grand Finals of the tournament beating Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses in the Upper Bracket. While the games against Team Liquid felt rather easy for Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang and his team-mates, EG actually gave them a rough time in the Upper Bracket Finals.

The North American squad won the first game thanks to a strong Templar Assassin played by Abed 'Abed' Yusop. The mid laner from the Phillipines outplayed Kam 'Moon' Boon Seng on Leshrac completely. However, game two and three went in the favour of the SEA squad.

Captain Anucha 'Jabz' Jirawong played a perfectly roaming Lion with zero deaths in game two. With his help Nuengnara '23savage' Teeramahanon had enough space to develop a strong Shadow Fiend on the carry position.

In the last game Moonn had his moment to shine and won the mid lane with his Death Prophet. Fnatic pushed the towers fast so Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev didn't have the time for his Faceless Void to turn the game.

OG crush Liquid's hopes

EG will face OG Seed in the Lower Bracket. The European squad beat Team Liquid 2-0 to advance into the Lower Bracket Finals. In game one Rasmus 'Chessie' Blomdin demonstrated his phenomenal Void Spirit skill with 13 kills and only two deaths.

Although Max 'Qojqva' Broecker tried his best to keep the pace on the mid lane, Omar 'Madara' Dabachach's Spectre was another problem for Liquid. In the end, they neither got the kills nor the impact to actually threaten OG's victory – even a Divine Rapier didn't tip the scale in their favour.

Madara also dominated the second game with his Faceless Void: 15 kills and only two deaths were too much for Team Liquid. Again it was qojqva trying to keep his team alive. In the second game he switched to the carry position with Death Prophet. Although he had ten kills, the other cores of his team, especially Michael 'm`ICKe' Vu's Naga, weren't the right picks to keep the team in the tournament.

Can any of the two remaining teams stop Fnatic?
