Ninjas are out – Only six teams left at Bukovel

With Ninjas in Pyjamas, another team is out of WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020. Six teams are still in the run for the last slot at DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major.

NiP vs Team Spirit: Feeling the Death Pulse

The first Group A contender has been eliminated from the tournament. Team Spirit defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-0 in the elimination match.

NiP were initially ahead during the laning stage in game one and seemed to be on top of Spirit. However, they did not use their advantage and threw their lead by playing too passively. They were not not taking fights or or pressed pushes, despite having Faceless Void as carry who could have actively opened kill set-ups. Igor 'ILTW' Filatov on the other hand took them apart with Slark and Spirit eventually turned the game around.

Game two progressed evenly at first, but after 20 minutes Spirit were in charge, even diving NiP in their base while all tier 2 towers were still up. After falling to a Slark, NiP went for the hero themselves this time on Nico 'Gunnar' Lopez. He was not able to get close to attack his opponents though, as he immediately got low on health.

Aleksey 'nongrata' Vasiliev seemed untouchable on Necrophos and NiP and no response to that. His aggressive plays also created space for iLTW to farm on Spectre who ended the game with a networth lead way ahead of his enemies.

RNG vs Geek Fam: Can't stop RNG

Royal Never Give Up added two more victories to their account: They defeated Geek Fam with a clear 2-0 in the Winner's Match.

RNG are currently in the top three of the China Dota2 Pro League Season 1 and are now proving they can repeat their success on an international stage. They already stomped Team Spirit and they did not give Geek Fam much more play time.

In game one, Geek Fam had a quite mobile line-up with Storm Spirit and Puck, but they had problems separating RNG and getting kills. All of RNG's cores however had a strong start. Especially Gao 'Setsu' Zhenxiong's Shadow Fiend had a successful game with top kills, damage and networth.

Game two was a classical stomp by RNG and ended after 19 minutes with a 19-3 score line. Setsu once again took the kill lead, this time on Puck. RNG grouped up to push towers and quickly had a lead of over 7k.

RNG are now the first team to advance to the playoffs. Geek Fam face Team Spirit next in the decider match of Group A.
