This week, Dan Offen had the chance to interview Danny 'iAnnihilate' Cote. The Canadian explained the difficult situation of the North American Dota scene, how he managed to grind competitively while dealing with grief and hardships and how tournaments do not always determine who the best team is.


iAnnihilate has been part of the tier 2 scene since several years. The midlaner and carry is currently playing for Demon Slayers. Despite joining the team rather at short notice, they managed to get to the second place of DreamLeague Season 12.

Apart from the difficult lifestyle as tier 2 pro, he had to face additional hardships with his mother falling ill to a deadly disease. However, he overcame all obstacles and kept focusing on his Dota career.
