The qualifiers for the WESG 2019 are slowly coming to an end. 24 teams from all around the globe will battle for the $800.000 prize pool. The exact date for the Global Finals hasn't been revealed. We collected some of the most interesting participants, ranging from single players to already successful five-stacks.

One of the strongest contenders so far is China: PSG.LGD will represent their homecountry after a nearly flawless run in the qualifiers. In all twelve games they played, they only lost a single map and even defeated the rising stars from Invictus Gaming 2-0.

Southeast Asia looks equally dangerous: ESL One Hamburg 2019 and MDL Chengdu Major winners TNC Predator enter the ring for the region. The stronghold also only dropped a single map in the qualifiers.

Middle East and North Africa

MENA's representing team Portal Esports features a special player: Mohammed 'Attacker' Almheiri. The pub star is well-known for his Kunkka Spam; he has over 2,900 games on the Admiral on his account.

West Asia

Nigma fans can cheer for Team Lebanon: the TI7 winner Maroun 'Gh' Merhej attends for his homecountry. He will also be joined by offlaner Roy 'Rajjix' Rajji.

East Europe

Nigma has another player on the WESG battlefield: Ivan 'MinD_ContRoL' Borislavov will represent Bulgaria on Minor Atendari, alongside with Nikolay 'Nikobaby' Nikolov.

North America

NA Doto will be represented by the Canadian Fighting PandaS stack surrounding Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao. The squad defeated US contenders NA's Finest with David 'Moo' Hull and Brian 'BananaSlamJamma' Canavan with a quick 2-0.

West Europe

The mostly Czech squad Chicken Fighters will take on the fight for West Europe. The team features Ilya 'Illidan Stormrage' Pivtsaev, Ondřej 'Supream^' Štarha, Jonáš 'Saberlight' Volek, Milan 'MiLAN' Kozomara and newcomer Adam 'Ade' Koníček. They defeated twice on their qualifier path, first 2-0, then 3-1.

For the Adriatic region, Serbian LVLUP qualified. The roster consists of three former players from Elements Pro Gaming, including Nikola 'LeBronDota' Popovic.

In the CIS region FlyToMoon pushed through against Natus Vincere. The two squads had to battle each other twice, FlyToMoon defeated Na'Vi first 2-1, then 3-1.

Who are you rooting for?
