Team Spirit: In Sven we trust
Second CIS contender, Team Spirit, did not have it easy. After getting defeated by AS Monaco Gambit, they had to fight for the remaining slot at the Lower Bracket against HellRaisers – and they fought until the very end. With a final 3-2 score, Spirit eventually prevailed over the Russian team.
Spirit counted on Mikhail 'Misha' Agatov's Sven to carry the team in four out of five games. The strat worked especially in the second match, a 17 minutes stomp with a 21/2 killscore.
What a week that was! We played the maximum amount of matches in CIS region in two qualifiers 👀

Fighting Pandas: EE's revenge
In the NA Qualifiers, Fighting PandaS lost to J.Storm in the first round 2-1. They met again in the Lower Bracket Finals, and this time, Pandas were prepared: With a 3-0 victory, they claimed the second NA slot.
In two out of the three games, Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao chose the Rogue Knight Sven as well to lead the battle. While in the first and last game Pandas kept having the networth advantage, Envy once again stuck to the "two racks behind = easy comeback" meme in the second game. Jonathan Bryle 'Bryle' Santos De Guia turned the match around after getting a Divine Rapier on his Lina, which quickly lead to a Triple Kill.
Nigma: back on track?
Legendary Nigma had a rather disappointing comeback, but they now have reason to celebrate again. After a 2-1 loss against Vikin.gg in the Upper Bracket Finals, they challenged them again in the Grand Finals. This time, they ended the series with a 3-0 sweep.
Omar 'w33haa' Aliwi and Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi switched positions which turned out to be a better fit. Kuro S. 'KuroKy' Takhasomi decided to differ from the usual support role as well in game three bu buying a Dragon Lance and Crystalis on Vengeful Spirit.
You say it was a Dire situation, we say it was a Miracleous one! #StarsAlign
