An anticipated matchup
While the world champion stack surrounding Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein skips the second Major as well, they send in their newly signed deputies: OG Seed. The Dota 2 world has still to wait for the next encounter of the giants OG vs ex-Liquid, but their seed team could stage an upset.
Crushing the qualifiers
Nigma kicked off the Open Qualifiers incredibly strong. Their last matchup against syndLUL ended after only 11 minutes and 17-3 kills. Their opponents before that, Team Blink, couldn't endure the fight much longer, Nigma finished them off after 21 minutes. Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi added another rampage to his account.
OG Seed's matches lasted longer, but were very one-sided as well. All players put on a strong performance. Especially Omar 'Madara' Dabachach seemed to be untouchable but deadly with a 22/1/21 score in both games combined.
Of course, the teams still experiment with specific hero strats in the Outlanders Update. Nigma however succeeded with Tusk/Nature's Prophet twice. On paper, Nigma is considered to be the stronger and more experienced team. But since the patch brought so many changes to adapt to so shortly before the qualifiers, OG Seed might still be able to surprise their opponents. As they declared on Twitter, they apparently have "plenty of riddles ready".

The winner of the duel advances to the Closed Qualifiers which will take place December 1-4. The path to the next Major comes to an end for the losers. If Nigma prevail over OG Seed, they will face their former organisation Team Liquid. The fight commences at 6pm CET and will be streamed by GranDGranT.
