Invictus Gaming

The current squad of Invictus Gaming has propably not been on anyone's radar – until they stomped all their rivals at DOTA Summit 11. Not only could the charismatic players win the fans for themselves, but they also displayed their great potential. They managed to win the first event of the DPC 2019/20 season in a completely smashing manner: they won 11 out of 13 maps on their way to the trophy.

In particular, newcomer Zhou 'Emo' Yi had an amazing performance, which also reflects in the statistics. The mid-laner set a new world record on Invoker in professional Dota. After only 16 minutes, he scored 15 kills, accumulated 11.1k networth and 770 GMP on his hero. The squad is now at the beginning of their career and still lack experience, but surely have the potential to surprise once again.

Fnatic

Fnatic have always been one of the strongest forces from the SEA region. Their experienced core around legendary Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang and captain Anucha 'Jabz' Jirawong were recently joined by new blood. 17-year-old Nuengnara '23savage' Teeramahanon carried the team to a nearly flawless first placce at the Chengdu 2019: SEA Qualifier. With eight different heroes in ten matches, 23savage's already displayed his flexibility and large hero pool. If Fnatic are able to refine his talent, they stand a good chance at the Major.

Gambit Esports

The new hope of the CIS scene are AS Monaco Gambit. Captain Artem 'fng' Barshack has been a pillar in the region for several years and he might now have aquired a working formula for his team constellation. Both, Danil 'gpk' Skutin and Kyal 'dream'-' Tayirov are still extremely young, but especially gpk counts as one of the most promising newcomers. After a surprising run at the ESL One Hamburg 2019 where they finished second place, they proved they have a good chance for higher placements.

Team Liquid

The legendary organisation Team Liquid counts as one of the strongest forces in the entire world of esports – and Dota 2 makes no exception. However, their current roster have struggled so far to crush their opponents in the same manner as their predecessors did. Nevertheless, each individual player has a fair amount of skill and experience at their disposal. William 'Blitz' Lee additionally joined the team as a coach. Under the right guidance, the roster could eventually unleash their full potential and live up to Liquid's legacy.
