The tournament starts with a Bo3 round robin group stage. The top team from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the bottom two teams continue their way through the lower bracket. The playoffs will be played in a Bo3 double-elimination format, leading to the Bo5 Grand Finals.

For the new squad of Team Liquid, this will be their first chance to prove themselves at a LAN after leaving Alliance. Their organisation has already two DreamLeague titles under their belt, and finished second place on two other occasions. They will also have to face the new line-up of their old organisation ,which is propably going to be the most anticipated match-up.
Quiet, thoughtful, innovative.

Apart from the Dota 2 event, DreamHack also hosts the DreamHack Open CS:GO tournament with a prize pool of $100,000. Fans can also participate in the LAN party as well as several specials, such as a gaming expo, cosplay championships, drone races and so on.
Who do you think is going to win the season 12 of DreamLeague?
