The second day of Midas Mode 2: Sir Sadim's Revenge's Europe group was a battle between TI winners. Back-to-back champion OG faced the TI1 and TI3 champions.

Rat Dota is back!

It's a reunion many fans have been waiting for: the TI3 champions of Alliance didn't play together as a team for a long time. Henrik 'AdmiralBulldog' Ahnberg is a streamer, Jonathan 'Loda' Berg coaches the next generation of Alliance players, Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall is inactive and only Gustav 's4' Magnusson as well as Jerry 'EGM' Lundkvist are still playing competitively. The only sad part: s4 didn't make it and was replaced by Rasmus 'Chessie' Blomdin.

In their first match Alliance faced Sir Sadim's Stunners surrounding the popular streamers Janne 'Gorgc' Stefanovski and Wehsing 'SingSing' Yuen. The Swedes finished off their opponents with a convincing 2-0 victory.

However, in game two Alliance played against the first team to ever win two TIs. OG even picked Io in their special style to outsmart Alliance, but the TI3 winners proved that they're still not too old to be victorious. Alliance beat the current TI champion with 2-1 and defended the first place in the group.

Puppey: Kill them all!

Dota fans who like to remember the first The International are even more happy to see the old Natus Vincere lineup back together - especially Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin and Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov.

Even Dendi was a bit nostalgic yesterday:

"How soulful it is to hear Lost "Guys, I'm at the barracks", Vanka "On a U-turn!", Sashino "Can we do this?" and Clement "kill them all"!!! Wild flashback warms my heart."

However, the team also proved that they still have enough skill to play in a fun mode and beat good teams, because they won both games against OG. They're in the second place right behind Alliance now. Tomorrow we'll see if OG can fight back against Gorgc and his team-mates and if Alliance against Natus Vincere will bring us another epic 'El Classico'.

Reso beats EE

J.Storm's new lineup is proving in North America that they're the team to beat in their group so far. They won both matches against beastcoast and Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao's Fighting PandaS for the first place.
