Ceb on second TI title: "It almost feels like we’ve finished DotA"

Two-time Dota 2 world champion Sebastien 'Ceb' Debs has released a blog post in which he recaps the events of the past weeks. Besides talking about playing in front of the Chinese crowd, taking the title at The International 2019, and sports psychology, he shares his feelings towards Dota 2 with us. It was one of the most elevating moments at TI9: OG took the series against Team Liquid, dominating them three games in a row. The squad surrounding captain Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein was euphoric beyond words. But instead of claiming the Aegis first, N0tail send another player forward. Sebastien 'Ceb' Debs looked almost like he couldn't believe that he had the honour of lifting the trophy first.

Now, with more than a week timely distance, Ceb has collected his thoughts and put them into an insightful blog post. He shares his impressions about OG's second TI championship which they took deservedly back to back. Because winning TI is every Dota players ultimate goal and the hardest challenge one can imagine, it is difficult to set new goals. "It almost feels like we’ve finished DotA," summarises the Frenchman his view. Still his and his team-mates' passion for the game hasn't diminished.

He also talks about how important psychological factors were in their triumph and what it felt like to play a home team that receives all the support from the audience. You can find the article right here, if you are interested in reading it.
