The two favourites of the tournament will kick off the tournament in Beyond the Summit's LAN house: J.Storm will play against Alliance.

The organisers finally announced the format for DOTA Summit 10. On the first two days all teams will play in a round robin best-of-one format against each other. The two top teams will advance to the Upper Bracket, while the other squads will start in the Lower Bracket. All playoff games will be played in Bo3, except for the Grand Finals which will be a Bo5.

Alliance vs. J.Storm - the duel of contenders

The first match of the tournament starts at 6pm CEST and is going to be a banger. Alliance is the only Summit participant that also plays at The International 2019 and J.Storm finished second place in the American Closed Regional Qualifier.

The highlight could be the fight of core players. We'll see the German duel on the mid lane: Max 'Qojqva' Broecker will play against Leon 'nine' Kirilin. Although Nine is an ambitious talent who finally found a strong stable team, he shouldn't be able to stop qojqva.

His fellow countryman is back in his prime - or even better than back in 2014. However, he won't have an easy life in this matchup, because there's still J.Storm's star carry: Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok.

The Ukrainian hard carry is one of the best players in the world on his position. He joined J.Storm earlier this season, but failed to qualify for TI9. This could be his last chance for redemption to win a title in North America. He should have a head start against Michael 'm`ICKe' Vu, Alliance's hard carry.

Of course, this won't be the only matchup for today: seven more games await us tonight.

Who do you think will win this match?
