N0tail is recovering, OG still without him

World champion OG had to go without their captain Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein. Although the Danish player is not going to play against PSG.LGD, he released a statement in which he tells us about his illness. On Monday, the match between OG and Evil Geniuses was rescheduled to Tuesday due to N0tail not being able to play. Despite this honourable gesture by EG, EPICENTER, and the two teams who played instead, Ninjas in Pyjamas and paiN Gaming, he did not recover in time.

OG's coach Titouan 'Sockshka' Merloz took up the burden and has played as N0tail's substitute for the time being.

To hell and back

In the meantime, the 25-year old issued a statement on TwitLonger in which he opens up about his illness. Apparently, Sundstein suffered from an infection which displayed "symptoms of the norovirus". It was almost impossible for him to keep "any food and barely and water for 6" day, which points to a very form of the illness.

Doctors ran many tests on N0tail to exclude physical causes for his condition. After taking antibiotics, he states, he was feeling better and is now recovering.

OG take on PSG.LGD without N0tail

He ends his statement thanking the community for their support. Also, he hopes to be back for the "next series after LGD", humourously suggesting that his team is going to win with or without him.
