Lasse 'Matumbaman' Urpalainen getting benched is one of the biggest transfer news of the year, but a bigger one could be his replacement and a stream might have leaked the new player.


The player in question is the in-active Chaos Esports Club pro Omar 'w33haa' Aliwi. On KheZu's Twitch stream, you could see an interesting party in-game for a split second.



The screenshot taken from this stream was posted by a user on reddit. It reveals that w33 is in a game with the Team Liquid players Maroun 'Gh' Merhej, Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi and Ivan 'MinD_ContRoL' Borislavov with their coach roman. Natus Vincere's Evgeniy 'Blizzy' Ree and Andrey 'Mag' Chipenko are also in said match. This points to a scrim between Team Liquid and Na'Vi, in which the former tests a new line-up with w33.



Of course, this "leak" isn't a confirmation on any fixed arrangements between Team Liquid and w33 yet. However, it is a strong indication that the Romanian is at least a likely candidate as a replacement for MATU.
