Oliver 'Skiter' Lepko joined Infamous about two months ago. We talked to him about moving to and competing in South America, how he likes living there, and what it's like working with Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier.
joinDOTA: Hi Oliver, thank you so much for your time! You are currently playing for Infamous in South America. Where do you live and how do you like it there?

oliver: I have been living in the Infamous Gaming house for almost two months now. The food is really good here and people are also nice. The biggest problem I've come across is that not many people speak English.

joinDOTA: How did it come about that you decided to play in SA?

oliver: It was all very spontaneous. Just after the DreamLeague Major I was approached by Enzo 'Timado' Gianoli who asked me to play for Infamous.

It was chaotic because the qualifier for the MDL Disneyland Paris Major was starting in just a couple of days. So I had to quickly pack my stuff and fly to Peru in a matter of one day. We had little to no practice coming to our first qualifier together.

joinDOTA: You and your team qualified for the EPICENTER Major. Congratulations! What impact did Black^ have on your performance? Why did you recruit him?

oliver: Black^ is an interesting character. Let's just say that he has an outstanding personality which is good. He helps to maintain a good atmosphere in the team.

After WSOE where he stood in for Timado. He did a pretty good job and since Timado was out of our team. It was just a matter of time before we started chatting together and thinking about making him a permanent player on Infamous.

joinDOTA: Now that you've qualified for EPI what do you think are your chances to qualify for The International 2019 still?

oliver: Well, there are 2 ways of getting into TI. One is getting top 6 Epicenter, which would be amazing and the second one is qualifying. Currently the best team in SA is unarguably Pain Gaming and that's the challenge we have to overcome if it comes to TI quals.

joinDOTA: Your team was criticized for taking part in the SA qualifier. What are your thoughts on Europeans playing in other regions?

oliver: I don't see a problem with Europeans playing in other regions as long as Valve allows it. I believe it's healthy for the region to see different types of Dota and also to prevent them from slacking off.

joinDOTA: How long are you going to commit to your engagement in SA?

oliver: So far my plan is to stay in SA until TI. When it comes to the future I can't really say what's to come afterwards. It all depends on our results.

joinDOTA: What are your plans for this year anyway, also besides your job as a professional gamer?

oliver: I can't really make any plans, because there is little to no free time. Dota life is extremely time-consuming. If you get just a little lazy, there are plenty of people who are ready to take your place. You need to work constantly on yourself and your team.

joinDOTA: Thank you so much for your time! If you like, you can address some words at your friends, sponsors, or family.

oliver: Thanks to all our fans for supporting us, without you I wouldnt be able to pursue my dream.
