The North American squad has parted ways with Kitrak after their poor finish at the Minor, replacing him with the veteran pieliedie. Forward Gaming has released Kartik 'Kitrak' Rathi and has brought in Johan 'pieliedie' Åström to captain the team.

Back in March, both Kartik 'Kitrak' Rathi and JingJun 'Sneyking' Wu were added to the team on a trial basis. After their addition, Forward saw a surge in results, and they were hoping to carry that momentum over to the Dota PIT Minor.

However, they were unable to achieve a noteworthy result in Croatia, finishing tied for 5-6th place after being eliminated by eventual tournament runner-up EHOME in a Lower Bracket Bo1.

The disappointing result seemed to dictate that a change was needed by Forward Gaming; pieliedie, too, had been looking for a team, as he was recently released by Mineski. Sneyking stays on the active roster on trial.
