In his speech in between watching the Dota PIT Minor qualifier he explains that it was not easy to qualify for a Major tournament in this DPC.

He played for several teams such as compLexity Gaming, Infamous, Flying Penguins and other lineups to qualify for a Major.
In his fourth attempt he was finally successful. He joined beastcoast in March 25 to replace Samuel 'Sammyboy' Anderson and helped Michael 'ixmike88' Ghannam beating J.Storm and Forward Gaming in the deciding games.
ixmike88 and EE together in Disneyland
It was a surprise for most of his fans that EE joined Team Team in the first place. The community thought that he didn't make friends in this team after signing Eric 'Ryoya' Dong between the Major and Minor qualifiers in round three. With that move, Flying Penguins weakened their rival and qualified for the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor.
However, ixmike88 explained in an interview with esportsheaven.com that "players quickly learn that they can't afford to hold grudges" and that "the player pool is far too small to be petty."
After all, it seems like it was the right decision for both players since they managed to qualify for a Major this season. In Disneyland, beastcoast will play against the best teams in the world and can earn enough DPC points to fight for a direct invite to The International 2019. At least EE seems ready to fight for his dream:
"If I'm not number one, I'm not number one [...] I don't really care about the paths. I just do whatever it takes."
Do you think EE can make it to The International 2019?
