While having played on loan at WESG 2018 Ukraine Finals back in early March, the support player will now take over the captaincy from teammate Kuku. It seems that TNC Predator was very happy with his performance, as Nico 'Eyyou' Barcelon has been given a permanent roster spot on the SEA team. This news comes only a few weeks after their victory at WESG 2018, where they bested Chinese side Keen Gaming 2-0 in the Grand Finals.

The news also means that previous captain Carlo 'Kuku' Palad will step down from shotcalling duties and simply play his usual role of offlaner. It also means that Marc Polo Luis 'Raven' Fausto, the carry player who was also on loan from Lotac alongside eyyou, will be dropped from the active roster to make way for Kuku, despite his contributions in at WESG in Ukraine.

We recently wrote about TNC Predator's ups and downs, including what the future might look like for the team, especially considering last year's scandal regarding Kuku and his being banned from The Chongqing Major.



There is no way to know for sure if the the captaincy swap has anything to do with the incident, but TNC Predator will get a chance to show everyone what they are capable of at the upcoming MDL Major: SEA Qualifier.
