The final group of RaidCall EMS One has been played today, and we now have all the teams set for the LAN Finals going down in Poland next month, April 20th to 21st.

Group D



The Russian group was played out today, and in a fairly big upset, not only did ru Virtus.Pro beat out ru Team Empire in the match-up between the two favourites, but when going up against the third Russian team, ru RoX.KiS, Empire ran into some big problems.

In the match, Empire went for a safeline trilane around Faceless Void with a Magnus to round out a strong lategame advantage, but having none of that, RoX.KiS decided to challenge them with their own trilane around Lifestealer. This allowed RoX.KiS to shut down the opposing carry, ending up taking control of the mid game and finishing things off before Empire got their teamfight combination running properly. With this surprise victory, RoX.KiS took the second place in the group and denied Empire access to the LAN Finals.

As has sadly been the case in each group, the North American team ended in fourth place, without a single victory.
