The Electronic Sports League (ESL) has finally released the venue of the EMS One tournament. ESL's first large scale Dota 2 event will be held in Katowice, Poland at the Angelo Hotel on the 20th and 21st of April.

With the conclusion of the EMS One group stage a few days ago, we now have the eight teams that will be battling it out for a slice of the massive $35,000 prizepool.

Qualified teams

de mousesports
eu Fnatic
ua Na'Vi
dk Absolute Legends
fr dd.dota
se No TideHunter
ru Virtus.Pro
ru RoX.Kis

Having been dealt their first defeat on LAN during the Techlabs Cup Russia, Na'Vi seeks to make a comeback from said defeat and be the team to beat once again. Meanwhile Fnatic and No TideHunter will be riding their recent hotstreak into the LAN finals in hopes of cementing their reputation as one of the best teams from Europe. Having caused some upsets during the group stage, it stands to reason that the underdogs mousesports, Absolute Legends and dd.dota may pose a threat to the fan favourites. Finally Virtus.Pro and RoX.Kis will be carrying the Russian flag at the event.

EMS have also released the brackets for the event, so check out who your favorite team is playing below.

Take note that to attend the event, users would need to purchase a specator pass prior to the event and there will be no ticket sales on site. So be sure to purchase your tickets from the ESL website link below before you take off for Poland.

Our ver own au Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson will be casting the event live from Poland. He will be joined by us Jarrett 'Kawa' Robinson.
