DreamLeague Season 11 will start on March 14 and Evil Geniuses could already qualify for The International 2019 if they reach the Major and succeed in Stockholm. The first step for EG towards that goal has to be a decent performance in the NA qualifier. The qualifier will start on Monday, February 4. Eight North American teams will be fighting for three slots at the third Major of the season, DreamLeague Season 11.

EG's s4 looking for a home game in Stockholm

Evil Geniuses are the heavy favourites coming into the qualifier. Gustav 's4' Magnusson and his teammates are currently holding the third place in the Dota Pro Circuit with 4200 points. With a good performance at the Major, they could already qualify for The International 2019.

EG player s4 for sure is even more motivated than his teammates to step up in the qualifier since he would play in front of his home crowd at the Major in Stockholm.

However, the team still has to be careful. In the qualifier for The Chongqing Major in November, Evil Geniuses lost to J.Storm and Forward Gaming and therefore only qualified as third North American seed, which meant that they had to play in a tough group at the Major.

J.Storm and Forward Gaming are playing in Group A of the DreamLeague qualifier, while EG will start in group B. The first matches will be played at 10 AM PST. The last matches of the groupstage will start at 7 pm PST. The playoffs of the NA qualifier will be played on Tuesday, February 5, and on Wednesday, February 6.
