As revealed in the tweet above, two teams have been confirmed as invited to the tournament so far. The Kuala Lumpur Major winners Virtus.pro are joined by The International 2018 runners-up PSG.LGD — who also won the MDL-run Changsha Major last May.
Despite not being a DPC event, the tournament will carry a mammoth prize pool of $300,000. Three more teams are yet to be invited, and making up the eight-team tournament will be the winners of The Dota 2 Professional League S6 — which resumes on 28 December — and two teams from an open, China-only qualifier.
The action takes place 20-24 February 2019, the same weekend as ESL One Katowice 2019.
Who else should be invited to Macau?
