NoPangolier finished second in their qualifying group. They then went on to beat AS Monaco Gambit and reigning Major champions Virtus.pro to qualify directly for The Chongqing Major in January.

Alliance and HappyGuys can't stop the CIS squad
Invited to I Can't Believe It's Not Summit!, NoPangolier faced two matches on the first day of the online tournament โ and their first opponent was a tough one. Alliance are favourites to win the event, following good performances in the European qualifiers for both DPC Majors.
However, after two games in roughly one hour combined, NoPangolier demonstrated that they don't have a problem going up against favourites. Even a surprising Techies pick in the first game didn't stop them from winning. With a more serious draft in game two, Alliance were forced to call 'GG' in just 22 minutes.

The second match was against syndereN's HappyGuys. NoPangolier also won this match by a 2-0 margin, and are so far undefeated in the online tournament.
Meanwhile only Team Spirit kept up with the CIS squad. Artem 'fng' Barshack and his side beat Vega Squadron (EU) and finished 1-1 against Team Empire Hope.
Alliance will kick off the second day of the tournament with two series in a row โ they'll play HappyGuys and Team Spirit. These series will determine whether the Northern European squad can fight back and keep up their hopes of a tournament victory.
