Both Unchained and Hippomaniacs had won their groups earlier in the tournament, setting up a tasty Winners’ Bracket clash.
The latter, fresh from their exploits at The Bucharest Minor Europe Qualifier, took that initial encounter 2-0 to guarantee a place in the top two. Unchained, meanwhile, sealed a rematch with a 2-1 victory over Kaipi in the Losers’ Final.
The Grand Final itself was an epic encounter. Hippomaniacs took the first game in relative comfort, Vojtěch 'CURRY' Novák going big with a 12/0/13 performance on Phantom Assassin to round out a 22-minute win.
Unchained came roaring back with wins in Games 2 and 3, claiming 87 kills in total to Hippomaniacs’ 25. Tasos 'Focus' Michailidis ran rampant on Terrorblade and Juggernaut, claiming 34 of those kills just for himself.
However, Hippomaniacs weren’t done. They levelled the series with a comeback win in Game 4, edging a close encounter to set up a decider.

It was not meant to be for the side which also competed at The Chongqing Major Europe Qualifier. A 23-minute Game 5 saw Unchained lead from start to finish, again Focus leading the way — this time on Meepo.
With a 24k advantage an no resistance from Hippomaniacs, Unchained closed out the win and with it the title of joinDOTA League Europe Season 14 champions.
You can relive all the action here and here.
Congratulations go to Unchained Esports! See you all soon for Season 15!
