Organisers ESL have revealed the seventh invite for ESL One Katowice 2019 — and it’s Chinese side Team Aster who will be making the trip to Poland!

The superstar Chinese roster put together by Xu 'BurNIng' Zhilei are fresh from their first place in qualifying for The Chongqing Major, having defeated EHOME and Vici Gaming in the playoffs.

Aster began life in September, and immediately looked strong in qualifying for both The Kuala Lumpur Major and ESL One Hamburg 2018.

However, by the time those events came round they had severely underperformed — first with a 5th-6th place finish in the German city, then with a 13th-16th place finish in the Malaysian capital. They will be looking to improve in the upcoming Major.

They join the six previous invites in one of the largest cities in China:
Team Secret (Europe)
Ninjas in Pyjamas (Europe)
OG (Europe)
Alliance (Europe)
paiN Gaming* (South America)
Fnatic (Southeast Asia)

The event takes place 22-24 February 2019.

One invite remains — who do you think it will be?
