Last time around, we saw
Evil Geniuses cause the first ever elimination of
Team Liquid from a competition they had entered. And as
Virtus.Pro ended up forfeiting their slot in the finals, a hot EG managed to secure the first ever EIZO Cup and the 1,250€ prize in convincing fashion.Sign-ups are open!
A maximum of 256 slots are available for teams willing to sign-up to try and claim their place in the tournament, where they will face off against eight invited teams. The qualifier teams made a good run of it last time, with
Z4 taking out
Mousesports and
paiN-Gaming sending
Team Empire out of the competition and ultimately earning themselves 500€.Of course if the total amount of sign-ups exceeds 256 slots, we will open it up for 512 total.
