The International 2018 runners-up PSG.LGD suffered a crushing loss to Vici Gaming, being taken down in a 2-0 sweep. The first game was a steady win, with Vici restricting LGD to just six kills as they sealed a 23-minute win.
Zhang 'Eurus' Chengjun ran riot in the second game on Terrorblade, picking up as many kills as PSG managed, with Xu 'Fy' Linsen and Yang 'Chalice' Shenyi suffering particularly in the bottom lane. Both games ended with Vici enjoying a 12k net worth lead, and the result was never really in question.

Despite losing the first game to EHOME inside 27 minutes, Team Aster sealed their spot in the home Major with wins in the two following games, which were both pretty close.
Game 1 was a steady win for EHOME, led by Luo 'eGo' Bin on the popular Phantom Assassin β the hero enjoying a 71% win rate across all qualifiers.
Game 2 saw Aster come out on top of a back-and-forth game, things only being decided by an 8-for-1 teamfight in the final moments. The third game saw the teams skirmish often, with the lead changing hands and never exceeding 5k. However, with Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun and Gao 'lover' Yuan recording perfect KDA games, it was Aster who prevailed.

With both EHOME and PSG.LGD needing to win the 3rd Place Match, things were sure to be feisty. We werenβt disappointed, as the series went the distance.
PSG.LGD stormed the first game, fy and Chalice dominating the bottom lane with perfect KDAs as EHOME had no response. However, they roared back in the second game, Ego leading the charge.
2-1 !!

It was a grueling BO3 against @EHOMECN, but all worth it.
We are triumphant at the end, claiming the third and final spot for the #ChongqingMajor
A lot more to be desired today, but we'll use the time between now and the #CQMajor to work hard and correct our flaws!#LGDWin pic.twitter.com/AnMquWEt2w
And so, to the decider β and it was PSG.LGD who took the all-important final spot in Chongqing after a bruising 49-minute encounter. However, they led the game from start to finish, Yao 'Somnus' Lu asserting his dominance on Dragon Knight
In the Finals, Aster took the top seed in a best-of-one match, with a hard-fought victory over Vici.
