paiN Gaming to bring Brazilian flair to Katowice

The fourth team to take part in ESL One Katowice 2019 has been announced, and it’s the samba stars of paiN Gaming* who will join the party!

This will be the first time that paiN Gaming* will compete in Katowice, having failed to make it through the qualifiers for this year's event — losing to eventual participants Infamous.

However, this will not be their first overall ESL event. At ESL One Birmingham 2018 they finished third behind Virtus.pro and OpTic Gaming, while at ESL One Hamburg 2018 they came in fourth, losing to eventual winners Team Secret after a thrilling Lower Bracket run.

paiN join the trio of European sides already announced — Team Secret, Ninjas in Pyjamas and OG — in the famous Spodek arena. The event takes place 22-24 February 2019, between the second and third round of DPC events.
