Hamburg champions join the battle
The first invitation revealed was Team Secret, who memorably claimed the ESL One Hamburg title just one month ago. Their Lower Bracket run to the Grand Finals in the Barclaycard Arena saw them take down both Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro, before their victory over Vici Gaming in an epic final.
They now have the chance to win back-to-back ESL titles with their invitation to Katowice, but can they do it?
We are proud to announce @ESL has handed us an invite to their ESL One Katowice tournament in 2019. The $300,000 event runs from 19th to 24th of February and will be held in the mighty Spodek Arena.https://t.co/QGLV1rx99e#GONINJAS #DOTA2 pic.twitter.com/sj9A5Q1wup

OG bring the hype to Spodek
Meanwhile, OG will be looking to build on a solid end to 2018, thanks to their epic win at The International 2018. We don’t know how their form is going into the new DPC season given their decision not to participate in qualifiers for both the DreamLeague Minor or The Kuala Lumpur Major.
Now, with a new carry in place, will OG be able to claim more silverware in Katowice?
Who else would you like to see invited to Katowice?
