Two signings reinvigorate Team Secret
Team Secret switched out two players after a solid, but not incredible first DPC season: Adrian 'Fata' Trinks and Marcus 'Ace' Hoelgaard left after exactly one year with the organization in early September.
The Polish youngster Michał 'Nisha' Jankowski joined the team while Swedish veteran Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg marked his return after spending almost three years in different teams.
The time has come!

We are extremely glad to announce our new Dota 2 roster for the upcoming 2018-2019 DPC season! We'll be playing Qualifiers for the upcoming KL Major shortly, and you can catch our LAN debut at the @PVPEsports tournament in Singapore next month! pic.twitter.com/H01CgddJBC
The first appearances of this new squad already showed promise: Team Secret breezed through the European Qualifier for The Kuala Lumpur Major by only dropping a single game in the Upper Bracket Finals against Alliance. They also won the PVP Esports Championship by beating PSG.LGD and Fnatic.
At the end of October, the players crowned themselves champions at ESL One Hamburg 2018. After a 1-2 loss in the Upper Bracket against the defending champions from Virtus.pro, Secret managed to bounce back and take revenge on the Russians with a 2-0 victory that led them into the Grand Final. There, Puppey and his teammates bested Vici Gaming in a thrilling five-game series to win the title and $125,000.
Unfortunately for Team Secret, the event isn't part of the DPC circuit this year, so they'll have to gain their first DPC points at the upcoming Major. In Kuala Lumpur, they'll face their former players Ace and Fata who participate with the Ninjas in Pyjamas, paiN Gaming* and J.Storm in group A.
What madness will Team Secret bring to the Major?
At ESL One Hamburg, the Estonian veteran Puppey was able to run riot during the team's drafts. Position 5 Brewmaster, Arc Warden: Team Secret didn't shy away from drafting unusual picks or "experiments", like Puppey calls them, even in big matches like the Grand Final.
GG @ViCi_Gaming ! Proud of my team! Experiments are great!

With the first really big title being at stake in Kuala Lumpur, what kind of madness will Puppey and his drafts bring to the tournament? As the overwhelming favourites in group A, the players most likely won't be pressured to reveal their hand this early in the tournament.
After their splendid performances with the new roster, Team Secret is the team to beat in Kuala Lumpur for everyone who wants to claim the title, $350,000 for the winner and very important 4.950 DPC points.
Roster:
- Michał 'Nisha' Jankowski
- Yeik Nai 'MidOne' Zheng
- Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg
- Yazied 'YapzOr' Jaradat
- Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov
Do you think Team Secret will be victorious in Kuala Lumpur?
