Community buzz has been reaching fever pitch recently as players await the next major gameplay update to Dota 2. Now, Valve have announced that 7.20 will be released on 19 November — the day after the conclusion of The Kuala Lumpur Major.

In a brief update on the official Dota 2 blog, Valve detailed the upcoming first Major of 2018-19, talking about the success of Tigers at the DreamLeague Minor and the awarding of the first DPC points of the new season.

Amongst the details of starting time for the Major, prize pool and number of points on offer for teams, they ended the update with just a single sentence that players have been waiting to hear — just when we're getting 7.20.

We’ve already taken a look at what people might expect from the new update, including nerfs to several heroes, buffs to others and even the new hero, Mars.

We also took a look at what might go down alongside Alliance star Max “qojqva” Broecker and DotaHaven — it’s is well worth a read!

Could we even see a major change to gameplay itself? As always we’ll just have to wait and see what IceFrog has planned for us.

What are you expecting from the 7.20 update?
