The qualifier for the third edition of WESG are coming closer. All regions and countries present their national lineup. Today Finland announced its team - and it's literally a super team. Two old Liquid members will be reunited for the qualifier. Finland has three The International winner - and all of them will come together to represent the Northern country in the regional qualifier for WESG 2018.

Jesse 'JerAx' Vainikka and Topias 'Topson' Taavitsainen reached the top of Dota 2 in late August this year. They won The International 2018 with OG. However, the Finnish duo was not the first to lift the Aegis for their home country, as Lasse 'Matumbaman' Urpalainen won The International 2017 with Team Liquid. For the WESG qualifier the TI winners will unite to represent Finland.

This means JerAx and Matumbaman will be playing together for the first time after the joined time in Team Liquid. Meanwhile, Riku 'Buugi' Fält of syndereN's Happy Guys and Peetu-Elmeri 'Peksu' Väätäinen Vega Squadron (EU)'s position five player will complete the Finnish lineup.

The open qualifier will be taking place from November 6th-7th and teams from Denmark, Sweden and Baltics will compete with the super team.

Who can contest the Finnish super team?
