Out of Tangos has not been a stranger to the Swedish Dota2 scene, they've attended various events, like THOR Open and Dreamhack, but are yet to show real results. Showing a lot of activity, support from an organization could be what this promising team needs in order to become a regular household name.
Out of Tangos have been picked up by a fairly new organization, Keita-Gaming, who has previously sponsored a Swedish Dota2 team and seem to be highly motivated to get back into the game.
Keita-Gaming is likely to hope to try and re-capture the success they had with their previous line-up, the former
youBoat, who some even suggested should have earned them a chance to qualify for The International 2012 for their strong teamfight orientated play last summer.Official statement by
Keita-Gaming:After a time of apparent inactivity, Keita are glad to announce the newest addition to our gaming roster. We are happy to tell you that from now on Out Of Tangos will represent Keita on the Dota2 scene.
We spoke to OOTs captain, Jesper 'Frigoleet' Göthe, about the merge. "You could say the team was formed about three years ago." he tells us. By that time the group consisted of just three players, the fourth addition was made about a year and a half ago and the latest just a month ago. However, Frigoleet tells us that "almost no time at all was needed until he found his place in the team" and also that the team feels stronger than ever. Frigoleet have been the captain of the team since they first started and when asked to comment on his goals and expectations regarding the future with Keita he tells us that "We have been playing together since we were beginners. At first we weren't very good, but we worked our way upwards." He tells us that by always staying serious and sticking together they have got to the point where they feel they can compete even with teams in the top tier.
In this same manner they are looking forward to working together with Keita. They are hoping to keep the same development curve and soon to be playing in the top scene. And of course, we at Keita are looking forward to helping the team grow and perform at top level!
