While every region already determined which teams will compete at The Kuala Lumpur Major, we were waiting for the last team from Southeast Asia. Fnatic did it, but who'd be the second team to represent SEA at the home Major?

It seems like Mineski won't play in front of their home crowd

Mineski changed things up before the season started: Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang and two other players left. Following this, they signed Damien 'kpii' Chok, Kim 'Febby' Yong-Min, Thiay 'JT-' Jun Wen and swapped Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung to a position five support.

With three Malaysian players in the roster Mineski wanted to win the qualifier even more to compete in Kuala Lumpur as the hometown's favourite. However, it didn't work out as planned: Mineski lost both matches in the group stage. They also couldn't stop Team Amplfy in the second round of the Lower Bracket.

Fnatic is SEA's best team

The former Mineski duo iceiceice and Anucha 'Jabz' Jirawong were transferred to Fnatic. Unlike Mineski, Fnatic won all their games in the Southeast Asian qualifier. Tigers, Sterling Global Dragons, Team Amplfy and TNC Predator. Only the last team mentioned was even able to win a single game against the favourites.

The second team to qualify for The Kuala Lumpur Major was determined in the battle between Marc Polo Luis 'Raven' Fausto's Lotac and his former team TNC Predator. Lotac had a tough time in the group stage, but won every single Lower Bracket series up to that point.

After a quick win for each of the two teams, the series was evened out, but in the last game TNC had a strong lead after 38 minutes. They managed to push highground and destroy the mid barracks.

The fans which will attend the Kuala Lumpur Major were still hoping that Lotac would find a way back in the game since Ohaiyo's team has three Malaysian players in their team, but the team didn't fight back efficiently enough. In the end, Lotac lost the series.

Fnatic and TNC Predator will compete at The Kuala Lumpur Major from November 9th until November 18th. Every other team still has the possibility to attend the Major! The last slot for Kuala Lumpur is occupied for the winner of the Minor. The qualifier for the DreamLeague Season 10 starts on September 23rd
