The weekend was full of roster news. Teams have revealed their final form. While the hopes for an entrance of Team SoloMid and EnVyUs died, paiN Gaming* brought its own rivalry to South America. In the South American region, there are usually two teams who are fighting for most of the qualifier spots. At least, it was like that in the previous Dota 2 Pro Circuit: the Peruvians at Infamous and Brazil's top team paiN Gaming*. However, it seemed like Otávio 'tavo' Gabriel and his teammates wouldn't play for the organization anymore after signing Rasmus 'rASmus' Fillipsen as their captain and position five support.

In a deleted tweet Danylo 'KINGRD' Nascimento stated that Misery will be their new player and that they're searching for a new organization. Shortly after paiN signed the Quinn 'CCnC' Callahan squad under the name test 123.

However, the registration page now shows that the paiN squad entered in the last minute under the name of paiN Gaming. The only player missing is Danylo 'KINGRD' Nascimento. He hasn't appeared on the list yet.

This means paiN Gaming has now two squads competing in the next season. This will become especially interesting at the end of the season when teams head to The International 2019 in Shanghai.

While there are no restrictions for teams with the same owner competing in the Majors and Minors, no owner is allowed to have two teams going into TI9. However, it's enough time until then to sort it out if they're both good enough.

No TSM for Reso and his team

Hopes were high that the famous organization Team SoloMid would enter Dota 2 and sign the former North American VGJ.Storm roster around Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok, but on Saturday they announced that they will play for Forward Gaming next season.

So after a good season and a decent result at The International 2018, the squad decided to not just join another organization, but to do the full reset with a new start-up organization. The new CEO and co-founder of the organization is David Dashtoyan who already worked for ESforce Holding for a while. This is the organization which had a partnership with Natus Vincere and is still behind and SK Gaming*.

Four players from the previous season stayed with the lineup. Only JingJun 'Sneyking' Wu was kicked and Saahil 'Universe' Arora was signed instead. They planned on bringing in Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling as their coach when he left Fnatic, but it seems like he didn't register in time.
