In a statement on their website, CIS organisation Virtus.pro have announced that offlane Pavel '9pasha' Khvastunov will be missing for The Kuala Lumpur Major: CIS Qualifier, and will be replaced by former Team Empire carry Rostislav 'fn' Lozovoi.

Although this announcement could appear to be juicy gossip during roster shuffle season, the reasons for 9pasha’s absence are entirely innocent — he has been on his honeymoon after his wedding to bride Lidiya just a couple of weeks ago. As this was obviously planned long before the announcement of the DPC 2018-19 calendar, his absence is unavoidable. He will return to the lineup after the Qualifier.

The previous season culminated in a most significant personal event for Pavel – his marriage. The newlyweds' honeymoon has been planned long before the announcement of the timetable for the Major's qualifier, so, despite the matches' importance, the team understands the current situation. Pavel will start practice couple days before the qualifier stage begins, so he'll be ready to return to our main roster as soon as it ends. — Roman Dvoryankin, General Manager

I'm excited to play with Virtus.pro. Our relationship with the guys goes way back, and some of the players used to be my teammates in the past. It's an amazing chance, but also an enormous responsibility, so I will be practicing very hard with the team to give my best during the qualifiers. — Rostislav 'fn' Lozovoi

Do you think Virus.pro can be successful with fn in the lineup?
