Can Puppey and zai win the German ESL One again?

Two teams have already been announced for the upcoming ESL One Hamburg 2018: Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro. Now Team Secret are joining the party. In last season's Dota Pro Circuit, Team Secret almost got off to the perfect start. They reached the Grand Finals of the first Major of the year by beating TI7 winners Team Liquid, but couldn't convert their chance in the Grand Finals of ESL One Hamburg 2017 as Virtus.pro took the win with a one-sided 2-0 sweep.

The first offline event for the new team

Although ESL One Hamburg 2018 doesn't have Major status, some of world's best teams will use the tournament to gauge their relative strengths. While VP and Evil Geniuses retained the same rosters they had at The International 2018, Team Secret will be represented by their new lineup in Hamburg.

The last time Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg and Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov competed together at an ESL event was at ESL One Frankfurt 2015, where they defeated Evil Geniuses in the Grand Finals. It was their last win together.
