The changes are coming thick and fast in China, as teams really do rebuild with the aim of dominating the 2018-19 Dota Pro Circuit. Royal Never Give Up, Invictus Gaming and CDEC Gaming have now all confirmed their rosters — according to registrations for the Open Qualifiers for The Kuala Lumpur Major.

IG start afresh with all-new roster

As one of the few teams to have won Valve’s showpiece event, Invictus Gaming performed terribly at The International 2018. They effectively finished as the worst team in the tournament with a 4-12 record in Group A, finishing bottom and not even making the Main Event. Naturally, changes were due, and now they have revealed an entirely new six-man roster.

After Lin 'Xxs' Jing and Ye 'BoBoKa' Zhibiao left to join BurNIng’s Team Aster, Sun 'Agressif' Zheng announced he was taking a break from Dota 2 — with Sun 'Srf' Runfa and Fu 'HHH / Q' Bin departing soon after. Three players have joined from sister team iG.Vitality — midlaner Zhou 'Emo' Yi, offlaner Xiaodong 'InJuly' Yang and support Gao 'dogf1ghts' Tianpeng, with carry Zheng 'ghost' Jie joining from Eclipse and both Chon Kien 'Oli' Chan and Ru 'RedPanda' Zhihao sharing the position 5 slot.

Full lineup:

cn Xiaodong 'InJuly' Yang
cn Gao 'dogf1ghts' Tianpeng
cn Zheng 'ghost' Jie
my Chon Kien 'Oli' Chan
cn Ru 'RedPanda' Zhihao

CDEC also in full-reboot mode

If IG were in need of a fresh start, CDEC Gaming were more so. The former LGD feeder team had an extremely forgettable 2018, not making it to a single Major or Minor in the entire season. As such, they have also brought in an entirely new roster.

Carry Su 'Flyby' Lei rejoins the org having previously spent time on iG.Vitality, while Guo 'Xm' Hongcheng comes having spent time at Ehome.Immortal, as does support player Zhou 'shaker' Shengchao. Shen 'Xyz' Chao is recruited from former BurNIng/Ferrari_430 side Big God 2.0*, while rounding out the roster is former Team Max player Cuoyi 'Demons' Xiao.

A new challenger joins the scene in Royal Never Give Up

RNG have been heavily featured in the headlines this week, given the roster drama surrounding carry Du 'Monet' Peng. The org is new to Dota 2, having built their brand upon a strong League of Legends side, and have gone out to get their main man to kick things off for the forthcoming DPC season.

Monet takes the position 1 slot, and joining him in the roster are former Eclipse midlaner Gao 'Setsu' Zhenxiong and iG.Vitality offlaner Sun 'Srf' Runfa, while Soon Chuan 'ah fu' Tue follows him from LGD.Forever Young. Making up the side is former Fnatic coach Adam Erwann 'Adam' Shah as position 5.

Full lineup:
cn Du 'Monet' Peng
cn Gao 'Setsu' Zhenxiong
cn Sun 'Srf' Runfa
my Soon Chuan 'ah fu' Tue
my Adam Erwann 'Adam' Shah

What do you make of these roster moves? Can RNG make an impact in Dota 2?
