Out of the wilderness
The last team that Winter turned out for was Mineski-X*, back in 2016, with the last event entered being the Malaysian qualifier for ESL One Genting 2017. That squad didn’t make it to the main event, and he soon swapped the keyboard and mouse for a clipboard to become coach of Team Faceless*. Under his guidance that roster made it to both the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 and The Kiev Major.
He then became coach of Mineski for a brief time, and then led Battle Arena Elites in qualifying for The International 2018. As a member of the casting team he has covered many of the biggest tournaments, from EPICENTER to StarLadder, Majors to Valve’s showpiece event, building up a reputation as one of the leading analysts in the scene. And now, we see a return to playing.

DeToNator squad looking to make waves in SEA
One of the lesser-known organisations in SEA, Yoshimoto.Detonator have yet to qualify for any of the more well-known tournaments. They narrowly missed out on reaching the Southeast Asia Main Qualifier for ESL One Birmingham 2018, while they also fell at the first hurdle in qualifying for The International 2018.
The new lineup also sees Axel 'PABLO' Källman join after leaving The Final Tribe, while Steve 'Xcalibur' Ye has Major experience with Fnatic, having made top-8 at ESL One Hamburg 2017. Carry Benhur 'Benhur' Lawis was seen at The Manila Major with Mineski.Sport5, while Ralph Richard 'RR' Peñano has experience of the biggest stage as part of the Execration lineup at The International 2017.
