From the moment it was official that Damien 'kpii' Chok
left Newbee, hopes were high that he'd play for a Western team. However, he decides to play alongside Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung.
Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang, Anucha 'Jabz' Jirawong and Michael 'ninjaboogie' Ross left to join different teams - and only two Malaysian player were left behind.

Although Mineski had a surprisingly strong season and even won a Major, they didn't finish with a good result at The International 2018 - changes were inevitable.

kpii's next SEA experience

After more than three years in Chinese teams the famous Australian offlaner decided to move to another region and join the Malaysian duo Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung and Kam 'Moon' Boon Seng at Mineski.

I feel that the chemistry of the team is very important to make a championship roster - I think that this team has the right attitudes to be successful, so I am looking forward to the coming season!” - Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung

However, we can celebrate a reunion as Kim 'Febby' Yong-Min will be the new position four support of the team. The South Korean pro played alongside kpii at MVP Phoenix* where they reached the top eight at The International 2015.

The fifth player in the squad is youngster Thiay 'JT-' Jun Wen who was formerly known as March and played for Geek Fam.

I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to play on such a talented roster of players! I’ll be sure to use this opportunity to prove myself in my role - Thiay 'JT-' Jun Wen
