Valve really did give us a feast of information last night! Alongside announcements on new talent and the make-up of the Group Stage, they revealed details of the All-Star Game for The International 2018, showed off Team Liquid’s Championship Rings and revealed the official TI8 chairs.

This time, it’s Team Xu 'BurNIng' Zhilei vs Team Bai 'rOtK' Fan in this year’s All-Star Match. The Invictus Gaming coach will face off against his fellow Chinese, coach of VGJ.Thunder, as they pit their teams of superstars against each other.

On the side of BurNing, Newbee’s midlane star Song 'Sccc' Chun and Australian offlaner Damien 'kpii' Chok, OpTic Gaming’s carry Per Anders 'Pajkatt' Olsson L., Team Liquid’s defending champion Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi and OG support player Jesse 'JerAx' Vainikka.

Representing rOtk are Fnatic’s Canadian carry Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao, paiN Gaming* support Danylo 'KINGRD' Nascimento, Evil Geniuses star carry Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev, Vici Gaming’s captain Zhi Cheng 'LaNm' Zhang and support player Aleksey 'Solo' Berezin from leading DPC organization Virtus.pro.

It promises to be an exciting showdown, with the community already highlighting EE and Arteezy being on the same team as a point of discussion.

Valve also showed off the official Championship Ring, to be awarded to Team Liquid after their clean-sweep victory over Newbee at The International 2017. Featuring the Liquid stallion set a background of blue gemstones, it’s a classic addition to the collection of previous TI Championship rings.

Finally, Valve showed off the gaming chairs to be used by the players at The International 2018. Featuring two shades of green and black, with a red embroidered Dota 2 logo, they’re sure to keep the players comfortable during those marathon game series!

Which All-Star team will take the win? What do you think of the Championship Rings?
