Leaderboard ranking: Team Liquid owns EU

posted by Smyke,
Almost no Dota 2 tournaments are ongoing, nor is there any social media activity or pro streams — every team competing at The International 2018 is focused on practising for the upcoming mega event in Vancouver. We take a look at the leaderboard: who is trying the hardest? The leaderboard in Dota 2 is divided into the four biggest regions — Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia and China. While the Dota 2 Pro Circuit counts CIS and South America as regions on their own, here they are included in Europe and the Americas respectively. Let's take a look at the top 10 of the four regions.

Liquid's MMR beasts

The top 10 in Europe is dominated by the reigning TI champions. Four out of five Team Liquid players occupy the top six — only Kuro S. 'KuroKy' Takhasomi doesn't have a high ranking, currently in 655th place. Liquid's captain is probably busy analyzing the upcoming opponents, while his teammates sharpen their skills.

Two more TI participants are listed in the top 10 of Europe: Roman 'RAMZEs' Kushnarev barely made it into the top 10, while Vladimir 'No[o]ne' Minenko's smurf "@Believe" is ranked on second right now. However, this is not his only top 3 ranking — on the next page we'll take a look at the North American ranking.
