Here we look back at the best non-gameplay content of the week. In previous years we’ve had pool parties, dolls, bathtub interviews and visa applications. What would Summit 9 offer us this year? What moment would go down in Summit history?
We weren’t disappointed!
Arts and Crafts
Take two players from each team, give them a box of crayons, glue and other materials and ask them to create an image of another player. How hard could that be?
Well, see for yourself. The results are, well, hilarious!
You can check out Part 2 here.
Summit Campfire Stories
You know how it goes — you gather under the moonlight, roasting marshmallows around a campfire, sharing horror stories. We’ve all done it.
The Summit casters were no different, with ODPixel, GranDGranT, KBBQ and Kyle getting together after hours to share their professional nightmares…
Slime on the Scene
Usually player interviews revolve around meta discussion, tactics and analysis of games, with the goal of understanding how and why results happen.
Not with Slime and his mic! Questions about anime, hanging with Zuckerberg and casters’ wrestling chances bamboozle the players and casters alike!
Partner content delivers once again
Finally, you can always count on the BTS guys to deliver when it comes to creating content for their partners.
From mock documentaries to faux 50’s commercials, the content stepped outside the traditional bounds of marketing once again.
Also, it’s scary how good ODPixel’s impression of legendary naturalist Sir David Attenborough was!
What was your favourite piece of content from Dota Summit 9?
