It's not Timothy 'Tims' Randrup's first TI, but it could be thhe one were he finally reaches the top. How strong is TNC with their star SEA support? Since yesterday, Timothy 'Tims' Randrup is 21 years old. That means he could finally order a beer in Seattle but, since the tournament is in Vancouver this time, he could order a beer anyways.

Already his third try to make SEA proud

The young and promising talent TIMS has been part of the Filipino squad TNC Predator since December 2016. Officially the support player just had one attempt at The International so far: Last year, TIMS attended with TNC at the main event and even succeeded in showing a strong performance in the Group Stage and qualified for the Upper Bracket.

A tough loss against LGD.Forever Young followed by a grudge match against OG in the Lower Bracket ended TIMS' TI7 run.

But this was not his first experience in Seattle: At The International 2016 TIMS was part of the young and talented squad of Execration. Next to the uprising SEA talent Abed 'Abed' Yusop, the young Filipinos were able to get a spot for the Wildcard tournament.

In the end Execration was not able to qualify for the tournament - Escape Gaming led by Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen was too strong back then. But in a spectacular series, they took both games off home crowd favourite compLexity Gaming and eliminated their TI hopes.

Can TIMS help TNC to finally bring the first TI to SEA?

For this year TIMS has higher hopes, because SEA is stronger than ever. While Mineski and Fnatic and are the strongest teams in the region, TNC was able to surpass them several times in the qualifiers.

TNC's best result this year so far was the fourth place at Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, were they were close to beating DPC's best team Virtus.pro.

In SEA a lot of players concentrate on carry positions to grant a superstar role, TIMS is one of the few vigorous supports - on his back TNC could be make another SEA dream come true.
