Good last minute prep for Alliance and Kingdra
In Europe Kingdra have taken the lead in group A, a team who are one of only 3 direct invites to the TI8 EU Regional Qualifiers. They took out Team Singularity* and streamers Attacker and Lizzard's Yolo Knight 2-0. Kingdra's roster includes Alaan 'Bamboe' Faraj, Dat Quoc Ha 'Biryu' and Mihai 'canceL' Vasile.
Alliance still going strong
Meanwhile in Group B Alliance, who announced the arrival of Max 'Qojqva' Broecker as a replacement for Loda last week, are in pole position with 3-1, following a 2-0 win over MEGA-LADA, a team that includes ex-Navi player Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov.
Alliance will be looking to at least reach the EU Regionals, but the roster swap which saw Loda move to coach, means they will have to make it through Open Qualifiers to get there. One lovely little clipfrom their last match against LOTV by trollman_shotgun, saw Samuel 'Boxi' Svahn explaining exactly why you should never just accept death, even when you're 1 v 3.
SEA tier 2 getting in last minute practice
The news of Theeban '1437' Siva's TNC Tigers got quite a lot of attention, but the team hasn't been in the spotlight recently, although that might change very soon in the TI8 Open Qualifiers. The team features the ex-Fnatic players Muhammad 'inYourdreaM' Rizky and Lee 'Ky.xY' Kong Yang, and the team is in a three-way tie with Clutch Gamers and Flower Gaming in group A after the opening two weeks of the jDL Asia. Twitch user Thisisnotwhatiwant was kind enough to clip a little piece from TNC Tiger's matches, proof that things don't always go to plan.
Meanwhile in group B of jDL Asia, Execration leads, a team who is a regular in SEA Regional Qualifiers but who has not challenged for a long time. The success in JDL Asia however, could give them a little boost ahead of TI8 Qualifiers. In the JDL America the action is not yet in full swing, but Jsut a Squad leads the charge in Group with 4-0.
