The last major of the DPC is not even over yet, but the pre-TI changes have long been underway. Team Empire is next in line. The Russian squad is dropping their support player Maxim 'yoky' Kim in favor of Evgeny 'Chuvash' Makarov, who actually used to play with yoky in Spartak Esports*.

Despite replacing players one for one in the same position, the squad has also opted for a switch in positions: Rostislav 'fn' Lozovoi will take over position 1, while Aibek 'Naive-' Tokayev will now be playing position 2.




That's not the only change in personell: Arsenii 'ArsZeeqq' Usov, who last coached Effect will now join Empire as head coach.

Team manager Dmitry 'Korb3n' Belov has released a brief statement on the changes:
Some of our fans were expecting more radical changes but this squad is the best option right now. We will prepare for The International Open Qualifiers at our bootcamp. See you soon!


The team will now prepare in a bootcamp before attending the TI Open Qualifier where their revamped squad will be put to the test.
