The end of ESL One Birmingham 2018 marked the beginning of an unexpected roster shuffle. A few changes to EG have made waves across multiple regions, so we're here to lay it all out to help you keep it straight.

A rogue NA/SA stack has appeared! Legendary ex-Evil Geniuses captain Clinton 'Fear' Loomis and ex-compLexity Gaming captain Kyle 'Kyle' Freedman have joined forces with three Peruvians for TI8 qualifiers.

Team Empire has announced changes before the TI Open Qualifier. Maxim 'yoky' Kim has been replaced by Evgeny 'Chuvash' Makarov, while Arsenii 'ArsZeeqq' Usov has joined the team as coach.

The latest puzzle piece to fall into place was MiSeRy's new squad. After being kicked from EG, he returned to his former Digital Chaos teammate Saksa and gathered up parts of the old Mad Lads roster to form Five Dogs.

Jonathan 'Loda' Berg's retirement meant a minor roster change for Alliance - the addition of veteran midlaner Max 'Qojqva' Broecker.

04.06.2018

Just about a week after losing Gustav 's4' Magnusson and Tal 'Fly' Aizik, OG announced that they'd found replacements. Anathan 'ana' Pham returned to carry, Topias 'Topson' Taavitsainen took mid and Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein moved to support.

Shortly after all the EG related drama, an ex-EG player announced his retirement. Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho put out a lengthy vlog explaining his decision.

The first thing to kick off all this movement was Evil Geniuses' announcement that they'd lost Clinton 'Fear' Loomis (whose wife has just given birth to their son) and kicked Rasmus 'rASmus' Fillipsen. EG would need new players, and they came from none other than OG.

Meanwhile, compLexity Gaming finally announced their roster since kicking Kyle 'Kyle' Freedman.
